Editing round 1 complete

Chapter 4 being added to Google Docs
Yesterday I finished editing through the hard copy of Thicker Than Blood. That's definitely a relief, since I spent at least half an hour or more on each individual chapter. A lot of revisions were made and new material was added, but thankfully that part is over. I still have chapters I typing up with the edits, but all I need to do is type them up. I'm planning once every chapter is on my computer with the new edits I'll order my first proof copy of the book.
A proof copy of the book already? Well yes because I realized it will be easier to read through the entire book if I'm literally holding it in my hands. (That's how I edited both of my previous books.) More importantly it's a great feeling the first time you see your book in print (even as a proof copy), and this will help me see how formatting is looking for paperback. Since I already have the 6x9 template I don't see any potential problems with formatting, and the proof copy will serve as proof. Unfortunately I won't be able to post any pictures of the first proof copy until the cover reveal. Only one more month of waiting, I promise!
Now you know where I am on my role in this journey, and once again I'm excited about these upcoming months. I've been talking about a lot of exciting and interesting posts coming up and etc.
A huge thank you to everyone who has signed up for the cover reveal for Thicker Than Blood. Your support means the world, and I am eager to see more responses as the month progresses.

Overall I know this post has been short. Keep in mind it's late at night, and I don't want to expand too much further without ruining a post for another day. Check back in for more, and I'll try to post again before the end of this week. Until then, enjoy this lovely start to summer.
