Two entries into the contest

I entered Dark Romance into the new IP contest and I also entered After Death, a new short story I just finished.

After Death

He did not know there was more that could happen to him after he died.

Joshua knew what death was like. He had already died and now lived in the Underworld. He had thought he'd be able to rest once he died but he had been wrong. Now he served Hades and had little freedom.

Evelyn liked the Greek legends where the impossible could happen. More than that she liked the idea of love and finding someone who could love her endlessly. However, the longer she was without a man the more she believed she would never find the right man in her life.

She wanted love; he wanted freedom. Could they both get what they wanted? Was it dangerous to love a demon and try to save him? Would it be a sin to bring him out from the Underworld? When they meet....?

What do you do when all of the world is against your true love?

Hunter has the ability to do what no one else can do. He can say what no one else wants to say. He's distant and there is something dark about him that he is hiding. Something very dark...

One day Savannah decided to walk through the forest, as she had never done before. Little did she know that the forest she was walking into was the same forest Hunter lived in. Soon they begin talking and fall in love, but... The dark secret Hunter is hiding is terrible enough to destroy thousands. It could even destroy Savannah and himself.

What do you do when you fall in love with the wrong person? What if your lover has the power to destroy your life as you know it? When do love and secrets interfere with one another?

Love is Hell contest

Just wanted to stop in to say that I'll be entering into the Love is Hell contest.  You also can enter here.

I'll be writing something new up for this contest, but I'm also trying to find out if Dark Romance could be allowed for this contest.  Hunter isn't exactly a demon, but he does have a dark power...
I won't be posting about the new story I'm writing up for this until after I write it, and because I'm working on enough novels as it is I'm going to write a short story to save myself time and confusion.
And I just have to get it all finished before August 19th.
