Summer Sale, book signings, and the upcoming sequel

It's been a while since I have had time to update the blog, so I wanted to take a minute out of my day and catch everyone up to where we are.

If you haven't already purchased Cursed With Power or you know a friend who's in need of something new to read this summer, now is the time to purchase a copy.  For a limited time Cursed With Power will be available on Amazon for a discounted price of $17.06 -that's paperback only; ebooks are still $4.95. This discount is only being featured on Amazon, so take advantage of it while it lasts and spread the word.  

Also as June is ending and July is approaching, I'd like to remind everyone about the upcoming book events. I will be attending this year's BookFestPA on Saturday, July 13th from 10am to 5pm.  If you are in the MD/VA/PA area, I encourage you to come out and support your local authors who will be attending.  I will be present with copies of Cursed With Power available for purchase -remember, at book signings you can buy the book from me for a discounted price of $15-and there will also be bookmarks and etc. for those who are interested.  (If by that date Shadows and Embers is not yet out in print I may also bring along bookmarks with the cover for SandE, but I can't promise anything yet, so we'll have to wait until we're closer to the date).
The next signing I have after BookFestPA is the Baltimore Book Festival, and I will be present on Friday, September 27th from noon to 8pm.  Again, copies of CWP will be available at a discounted price, and I do expect by this time copies of Shadows and Embers will also be available -I will confirm this once again at a later time when I know for certain.  I will be in an author tent, so keep your eyes open and I look forward to seeing you there!

As for the sequel....
Shadows and Embers will be the sequel to Cursed With Power.  Currently I am polishing the book so that it is ready to readers as both paperback and ebook.  I'm aware the wait has been long, and for this I apologize, but I am hoping that if all goes as planned I can release it in July.
One thing for certain we already have is an official cover for the book, which will not be revealed until the cover reveal, but if you're interested in helping reveal the cover please contact me and let me know.  The cover looks great -so far my boyfriend's the only one to have the privilege of looking at it ahead of time- and I don't want to give away anything, but I will say I'm pleased with it and excited for when I can finally share it with you guys.  Remember, the cover reveal will be going on through various social networks -Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, Instagram, Tumblr, etc.-so there's plenty of ways to get involved.  The cover for SandE was not made by the same person who did CWP's, but I do believe you can tell these two stories are different and unique from each other. While this is a sequel it has its own story to tell.
All in all, keep your fingers crossed for a July release, and I'll keep you updated!
