It's been a while, so I'm going to try to catch everybody up to what's happening.
Obviously I don't need to tell you that Cursed with Power has gone through a lot. And the changes it has gone through are greater than anything else. Well, as you may or may not remember old English was being used in dialog and so forth throughout the book. I am changing this. No, I am not getting rid of it because of the complaints I hear much too often. I know I said I was going to stay with it, but every writer has to let go of something at some point or another. This is something so small that I have to give up, I really cannot complain. (Of course I might because of the extra work that is added on.)
So if I cannot blog all the time it is because I have major revisions to do with Cursed with Power. I have to change all of the language --for a third time--and while I'm doing that I have to continue on with the next chapter and etc etc.
Luckily, I planned out chapter 15-22 today, so it's safe to say I have an idea of what I'm going to be doing for the next good amount of chapters. Maybe that means the chapters will be finished in a more timely fashion, and maybe it won't have all that much of an effect. All the same, I thank all of you who have supported me with this difficult decision I've made. For those of you who loved the old English and said "old english is ftw!", I truly cannot thank you enough.
As always, I will continue sharing with you progress I make with the book.

A day with Arisen Darkness
Originally I had two characters in this book named after two characters from another book of mine. (Wait, did that make any sense?) The main characters name was Daray --inspired by Daray in Guard the Sacred-- and his father's name was Malvagio --inspired by Daray's father in Guard the Sacred. About halfway through the third chapter reality hit me. Whoa, whoa, whoa, the characters in this book live in France. Malvagio... That's a German word for "evil" or "dark" --I can't remember which and yes, I am too tired to look it up right now. After reminding myself that I changed both of their names to French names. (You're welcome.) For some reason that is just really reassuring now. (See, now we all can sleep after all.)
In one day I have written the first four chapters and I'm almost at 10,000. I know I've said Certain Fate will go up, but just between you and me I think this book must come first because I've gotten addicted to it. (Don't worry, though, Cursed with Power is still and always my main project I'm working on.)
I think it's safe to say Juliana has come along the furthest. I did not know at first what her story was; I did not even understand how her and Leonce would meet. Then, suddenly it came to me. And I know you're wondering how it could come to me. Well, I'll tell you how. I was literally sitting in my room --for almost the entire day--listening to the same five songs over and over again. (Not kidding; ask anyone who knows me.) One song, above all hit me the most with what Juliana's main story to her life is. She just keeps it bundled up
And never lets it show
She can't take much more of this
But she can't let it go
And that's ok, she don't want the world
All the things she says
While he's just lying there
Without someone to hear her cry
She slips off into a dream
About a place to hide
And that's ok, she don't want the world
This love she feels
Everything she's ever known
Or ever thought was real
Seems like it's been thrown away
Now how's she gonna live
It's ok, she don't want the world
Those words he never spoke
Haunt her life, the memories
Of all the times before
She tried to show him love
While he would only ask for more
But it's ok, she don't want the world
Softly in her sleep
Pictures of the life she's longing
For slowly appear
She's seen them all before
But somehow never quite this clear
She just smiles, she don't want the world
This love she feels
Everything she's ever known
Or ever thought was real
Seems like it's been thrown away
Now how's she gonna live
It's ok, she don't want the world
A brand new morning shines
As she wakes up alone again
This time to face the day
She swears there's time to make it
As she simply walks away
And it's ok, she don't want the world
Across this lake lays a destiny to be determined. Or perhaps just more mountains... Either way, Leonce and Juliana are coming across that lake. Soon you will be able to read how they do just this. You will read their stories, as they unfold them to you, and in the back of your mind you may remember the voice giving you someone to talk to.Rain clouds come to play again
Has no one told you she's not breathing?
Hello I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to
Hello
If I smile and don't believe
Soon I know I'll wake from this dream
Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken
Hello I am the lie living for you so you can hide
Don't cry
Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping
Hello I'm still here
All that's left of yesterday
Hope you will read the book when it's public. I am very excited to share the story with you. Please remember I do not own the lyrics or the pictures in this post.

Chapter 13...Awake
Memories are part of our lives. They follow us, but for Celestria... Memories haunt her. They are like ghosts...they are like falcons, swallowing her as they might a worm. If she did not have the horrid memories of her past, perhaps she never would have become the person she did. However, that is not the case. The truth of the matter is everything that has occurred in her life cannot be undone.
And while she spends the entire night up there are only two thoughts on her mind:

Coming later...
Unfortunately today is a very busy day for me. I have loads of homework, and I have to work this evening so who knows how long I'll be caught up in this and that.
All the same, I wanted to let you know that later --not today but probably more like tomorrow or Saturday--I will be posting about how I failed Nano, and then I'll do a post about how STRONGER came about and etc. etc. It's already at 935 in ranking. Thanks everyone for all of the support. It means so much to me; you already knew that of course.

STRONGER now public
The first six chapters are up. There is no real way for me to give you a preview of what to expect. I guess the easiest would be to just start at the beginning. I'll let you start from the first page. This is just a look into the book, so if you want to read more you'll have to do so by going on inkpop yourself to read it.
Read the book today. I hope you enjoy the book, and later on today or tomorrow I will post more about the starting of the book, forming of characters, and the changes the book went through. In times of danger it seems like you have to do everything possible to stay alive… to keep those around you alive. During those moments it is difficult to realize what is most important. Do you value your life over feelings or your feelings over your life? The answer comes to you once you realize there is a difference between pain and danger…The King and Queen saw me as a tool when their daughter’s life was at risk. It did not matter to them what I felt for her, nor did they care that this was the woman I wanted to marry. I could have proposed to her then and there in front of them and it would not have affected them in any way. However, they took advantage of what they had discovered was occurring between her and I. They knew I could not deny her protection. At first Jocelyn did not want to learn. She refused to, and she continued to tell me that she was afraid. It was not the dagger itself that scared her most or even the idea of killing someone. I believe what frightened her above all was change. She did not want to become someone else, and she reasoned that by learning self-defense this is exactly what would happen to her.A sage told her she had sixteen days to live. Merely sixteen days to learn everything she could in order to stay alive. This was a lie. Before sixteen days came and passed Jocelyn’s life was threatened.

Arisen Darkness *official premier*
The first part I have showed you is a poem. The poem, you find out later, has significance --to more than what you might first think. The first and last lines of the poem are in French. Daray and his father live in France; however, since I do not take French, nor do I care to deal with translations and etc. this is probably the only pieces of French you will see in the book. All the same, I'll save you the trouble and tell you what the two lines translate to.
Je suis noir --I am dark
Il ne reste rien dans mon coeur --Nothing remains in my heart
Hopefully this premier has gotten you caught up in the story. I will continue to keep you up to date with the project as time passes. In the mean while, if you are not on the mailing list please request to be now. As soon as this book goes public there's going to be fires blazing. Literally not kidding, but I cannot tell you any more than that.
Credit to Hannah for the stunning cover.
Arisen Darkness
She was a temptress. She was alluring and beautiful, and despite reasons I should hate her... I was in love.
